Civic Issues
Background: On July 12th City Council heard public comment about dilution of residential zoning laws that would allow an antiques store to occupy the house at 38-40 E. New England Av. OWA considers holding the line between business and residential to be critical to future development. OWA urged a NO vote. Five council members voted no and one abstained. Thank you to all who came to the meeting or sent a letter. Your help is greatly appreciated.
