Worthington Historic District
The Ohio Historic Site Preservation Advisory Board approved the Worthington Historic District nomination on August 28, 2009. This 'yes' vote from the board sent the nomination on for federal consideration for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places. This decade-long project expanded the many places already on the National Register by designating James Kilbourne's original town plat as a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places. The final decision by the National Park Service was made on April 13, 2010.
